• Strikeouts

Go to season play mode and put in new coach. Pick team, and go to first game. When you are on the field, put the cursor near the batter, on the upper corner and keep pressing escape. Backyard Baseball, geared towards kids 5-12 (or older), puts a cute face on America’s all-time favorite pastime – baseball. This kid-centric title from Humongous features simple gameplay, nice cartoony animations and plenty of bright colors to go with them.

Players choose their favorite players, create a team and play a season. Characters all have their own personalities that you must factor in, divided into four categories. What sets this game apart from other baseball games is that it offers a variety of Power Ups including super pitches and hitting techniques as well as special items like the aluminum bat (which allows players to hit harder and farther). In any case, the controls are simple enough that pretty much anyone can learn it, and the game also offers difficulty levels for better players to keep the challenge going.
